Amazing cheap auto spout review

Image
Auto faucet is expensive and difficult to installing, but you can convert your old faucet to auto faucet by using an auto tap head. That is cheap and easy to installation. don't need to change old faucet just change the tap head. that help to 70% water saving. its price only 28$. in following video you can see how it work.

Silica gel breather in transformers; Silica gel breather functions

Image
Every electrical engineer have seen silica gel in Transformer. This article is wholly based on Silica gel. Why Silica gel required in Transformer? What are functions of Silica gel in Transformer? When to change the silica gel? In transformers Silica gel portion is referred as Silica gel breather. It is usually connected to conservator tank through a breathing pipe. Whenever transformer is loaded i.e. near to full load, temperature of the Transformer oil get increased which leads to expansion of transformer oil means volume of oil get increased. Now when Volume of oil get increased air trapped above oil  level in conservator tank comes out. Now when transformer is lightly loaded transformer oil cools down which will leads to decrease in transformer oil volume. Which will leads to air from surroundings get enter above conservator oil level, now this air contains moisture which must be needed to removed otherwise it will leads to moisture getting mixed with oil. If this moisture get...

Copper rotors advantages over Aluminum rotors; Premium energy efficient motors

Image
Copper has high electrical conductivity then aluminum so this feature it ideally suitable for rotor bars and end rings in induction motors. Usually aluminum was used for manufacturing of rotor bars as they have low melting temperature. But now techniques has been developed to develop rotors with die cast copper. Copper has melting temperature then aluminum so it difficult to manufacture. Due to high conductivity and lower resistive losses so rotors with copper make the motor more energy efficient than aluminum. There are following advantages of using copper die cast rotors instead of aluminum rotors:- 11.       Copper rotors will leads to reduced size of motor for same efficient motors using aluminum rotors. For same efficient motors as that of copper rotor length of aluminum rotor needed to be increased to about 15-20% . Increase in rotor length increase the cost of many of the other components used in manufacturing the motor. As we know that stator and rotor in motors ...

Lubrication Interval and Vibration Level in motors

Image
Lubrication Interval of Motor In Induction motors Lubrication plays an important part for efficient operation of motor. Timely lubrication also leads to lower breakdown of motors. Below is the lubrication interval of the motor. Vibration Level In motors:- Vibration of an electrical machine is closely related to its assembly on the application and, thus, it is generally desirable to perform vibration measurements under installation and operational conditions. Nevertheless, to allow evaluation of the vibration generated by the electrical machine itself in a way to allow reproducibility of the tests and the obtaining of comparative measurements, it is necessary to perform such measurements with the machine uncoupled, under controlled test conditions. The test conditions and vibration limits described here are those found in IEC 60034-14. The severity of vibration is the maximum value of vibration found among all the recommended measurement points and directions. The table below indicate...

How to make LED board (method 2)

Image
This is second method for making LED board. in first method i used breadboard for making a small LED board but since there aren't big breadboard in markets so that method not suitable for big size projects. In following video you can see how can make a LED board using aluminum plate. The aluminum plate with 0.7 mm thickness must puncture with 4.8 or 4.9 mm drill bit.(for 5mm LEDs) The LEDs must connect together in parallel means all positive connect together and all negative connect together so you can run that with 2 to 3.5v (according to led types). you have to using a resistor through positive line to protect your LEDs and increase its life period.(see the note) Parts list: Aluminum plate 0.7 mm thickness Drill bit 4.8 or 4.9 mm (for 5mm LED) Silicone adhesive Black color spray battery Text or shape printed on a paper Solder flux LED(number of LEDs depend on your text or shape bigness) Resistor (see the note) Note:  Protection resistor used when supply power is more than s...

Dimmer for lights; Dimmer electronic; Dimmer working principle

Image
Dimmers are used for controlling brightness of the light. Dimmers are used to change the waveform of the voltage applied to the light. Dimmers are used for controlling voltage of resistive loads lights i.e. for CFL’s, Bulbs, resistive incandescent, LED lights etc. Dimmer chops the voltage applied to light. Which will allows chopped part of voltage to pass to light.  Dimmers are available in different sizes and ratings, they have sizes as small as size light switch to control domestic lighting and have as higher rating for controlling lighting installations in theatres and architectural lightings. Above pic shows small size of dimmer used domestic lights Dimmer is wired in series with the lamp. The lighting dimmer control is done by potentiometer. To control voltage in lighting potentiometer needed to be rotated to control the voltage. From above pic you can see how Dimmer is wired in circuit. Dimmers are available in different ratings from 600-1000 W rating, depending upon the rati...
